Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 21, 2026

Nexxus Consulting, LLC ("Nexxus Consulting," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of visitors to our website (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights available to you.

By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use the Site.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site, including our contact form, and to information we receive automatically when you visit. It does not apply to information you may provide to us offline or through other means (for example, a signed client engagement agreement), which may be governed by separate terms.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, subject line, inquiry type, and any message content you choose to include.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, when you visit the Site we (and our hosting provider, Wix.com, Inc.) automatically collect certain technical information, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, device information, operating system, referring/exit pages, and dates and times of visits.

Cookies and similar technologies. The Site is built on the Wix platform, which uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate the Site, remember preferences, and gather analytics about how visitors use the Site. Some of these cookies are essential to the Site's functioning; others support analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking certain cookies may affect Site functionality. For more detail on Wix's own use of cookies, see Wix's cookie policy at wix.com.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through the contact form;

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;

  • Understand how visitors use the Site (via aggregate analytics);

  • Communicate with you about our services, if you have contacted us;

  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or misuse of the Site; and

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use information submitted through the Site for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases: (a) your consent, where you submit information to us voluntarily (e.g., the contact form); (b) our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Site and responding to inquiries, provided those interests are not overridden by your data protection interests or rights; and (c) compliance with a legal obligation, where applicable.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers, such as Wix.com, Inc. (our website host and forms provider), which processes data on our behalf to operate the Site;

  • Professional advisors, such as lawyers or accountants, where necessary; and

  • Legal and safety purposes, where required to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information submitted through the Site for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and for a reasonable period thereafter to maintain business records, unless a longer retention period is required by law or is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7. Your Privacy Rights

General

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the information in Section 12. We will respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to: know what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used and shared; request deletion of your personal information (subject to certain exceptions); request correction of inaccurate personal information; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. In the preceding 12 months, we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email address) and internet/electronic activity information (as described in Section 2). We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. You may exercise your rights by contacting us at the email below; we may need to verify your identity before processing your request, and you may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.

EEA/UK Residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are located in the EEA or UK, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request rectification of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to certain processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA or UK, we take steps intended to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place (for example, relying on our service providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

Other Jurisdictions

Residents of certain other U.S. states or countries may have similar rights under applicable law. We will honor valid requests consistent with those laws.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for a general business and professional audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including relying on the security measures provided by our hosting platform, Wix. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Data Transfers

Because our hosting provider operates infrastructure that may process data in countries other than your own, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in a country different from where you reside, which may have different data protection laws.

11. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page reflects when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected by updating this page; we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
